CCSS CLUB NEWS

Message from our President, Lois A. Krause:

Well, the snow is gone, and we are looking forward to doing warm weather activities.  The club will be having its picnic at Pam and Jim Cropley's summer place on Coventry Lake on August 13.  Mark your calendars and keep an eye on your mailbox for further information.

Our most important meeting is in May, because we will be voting for our officers/committee chairpersons.  Only those who attend will be able to vote.  (I would also like to warn you, people have been voted in for a position in their absence, so come on out and vote!)

I would also like to take the space here to thank everyone who "stepped up to the plate" over the past two years and who continue to "serve", or those of you who recently offered to "serve".  This club has grown to 660 members, and it is a challenge to keep all the facets of the club in motion.  I cannot do it alone, and I really lean on many of you for your support and help.  All I can say to all of you is Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.  You all know who you are!

We have suggestions for programs for next year and welcome more ideas:

1. How to book a ski trip

2. Ski safety and etiquette

Please call me or any of the current officers. Let us know what you want to do to help keep the club going.  Our goal is to continue the wonderful companion for the Spring and Summer activities and the coming Ski/Ride Season.  Come on out, join in the fun, offer to lighten the load, and work with us so we can all have fun and enjoy our club while taking advantage of great savings.

We will also be picking next season’s Western trip the May meeting, so come on out and hear what great deals Bill Doster has got up his sleeve!

Think Sun (for now)!!!
